A Boutique Experience at Le Cinq Codet Hotel, Paris

Today, I'm excited to share a special experience courtesy of my sister-in-law extraordinaire, who recently had the opportunity to stay at Le Cinq Codet in Paris. With several clients planning to visit this stunning hotel, I knew I could trust her candid feedback. Nestled in the heart of the city, Le Cinq Codet is known for its unique blend of modern luxury and charming Parisian ambiance. In her post, she will delve into everything from the hotel’s décor and service to the overall atmosphere, providing insights that will help fellow travelers make informed decisions. Let’s dive into her experience and discover what makes Le Cinq Codet a premier choice in the City of Light!

Le Cinq Codet is a delightful boutique hotel situated in a chic, quiet neighborhood of Paris, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking for a unique stay. While it may not hold the prestigious five-star rating, its charm lies in its art deco style and the cozy atmosphere it offers.

Upon entering, guests will notice that the rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed. Our room, which was larger than others, featured a spacious bathroom equipped with both a bath and shower—perfect for a relaxing end to the day. However, it’s the top suites, especially the Eiffel Suite, that truly steal the show. With stunning views of the Eiffel Tower and a private balcony, it’s an experience that feels truly special.

The hotel’s amenities add to its appeal. The outdoor jacuzzi offers a lovely way to unwind, while the fitness room, though small, is well-equipped with high-quality machines. The steam room is another nice touch, making it easy to feel rejuvenated during your stay.

The on-site restaurant captures a cute and chic vibe, though it lacks scenic views, being situated on the patio. Breakfast at the restaurant proved to be a highlight, offering a delightful spread that includes fresh fruit salad and great coffee—just the kind of start you need for a busy day in Paris.

Le Cinq Codet's location is particularly advantageous. It’s a short walk to iconic landmarks such as Les Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, the Rodin Museum, and the Quai d'Orsay. The neighborhood itself is perfect for runners, with wide roads and beautiful scenery. On Sundays, the Quai de Seine becomes a pedestrian haven, allowing for a serene run or walk along the river.

One of the best aspects of this hotel is its proximity to excellent dining options. Just a 25-minute stroll from the hotel, we found ourselves at one of Paris' best Peking duck restaurants, as recommended by the Michelin guide. Dubbed the "Imperial Treasure," the experience was quite pricey at 150 euros per person, but well worth it for those seeking high-level Chinese gastronomy.

For families, Le Cinq Codet offers two-room suites, making it a great option for those traveling with children. And just outside the hotel, visitors can find a fantastic fine wine store—a perfect stop for those looking to take a piece of Paris home with them.

Despite some minor imperfections—little scratches here and there that remind you it’s not quite a five-star establishment—the overall experience is comfortably four stars. Excellent service and good quality amenities make this hotel one I would recommend without hesitation.

In the hustle and bustle of Paris, Le Cinq Codet stands out as a charming retreat, marrying style with a touch of home-like comfort. Whether you're running through picturesque streets on a Sunday or enjoying a chic meal nearby, it truly offers an authentic Parisian experience.
